Professor Rye is Chair of ISA2012. Professor Rye’s main areas of expertise are in identifying relationships between HDL metabolism and structure. She has a particular interest in understanding new and previously identified functions of HDL in the context of atherosclerosis and diabetes. She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Lipid Research and a member of the Editorial Board of Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology.
